Students of IUS at the conference “Sarajevo and the World”

On Saturday, 12th of May, 2018, students of second cycle of study, from the Architecture department of International University of Sarajevo, participated at the Fourth International Scientific Conference “Sarajevo and the World”, organized by International Forum Bosna, as a part of Days of Municipality of Old Town Sarajevo.

IUS students Afranur Aydin, Alma Subašić, Bisera Berberkić, Emina Isić, Hakan Atalay, Nadina Čamdžić, Nurbanu Tiftik, Osman Unal Yurtsever, Salam Yeghel and professor Amra Hadžimuhamedović, presented their project named: ”Education on the contemporary principles of cultural heritage protection through the case study of the cultural landscape of Isa-bey’s tekke”. The project resulted from the implementation of teaching on course Conservation and Restoration, led by Dr. Amra Hadžimuhamedović.

It was presented within the second discussion panel: “Condition and the future of sacral space in the valley of Miljacka from Mevlevi tekke on Bentbaša to Kozija Ćuprija”. Moderator of a discussion panel was prof. Dr. Rasim Gačanović, and besides presenters from the International University of Sarajevo, presenters that participated were: Zina Ruždić, Selma Karačevic-Kapić, Narcisa Gaković-Bašić, and Merima Tica.
